Courtyards designed with Gartenprofil 3000

The State Services Centre (LDZ) in Linz accommodates most of Upper Austria's government functions. Measuring 196 x 86 metres, it is one of Linz City's most impressive construction projects in recent years. The building itself has 9 floors in total and includes 5 courtyards.

The vegetation in the courtyards was edged with Gartenprofil 3000. Circles, rectangles and ellipses make up the overall image of the courtyards, which measure 40 m long and 15 m wide. The rectangles and ellipses have a side length of up to 10 metres.

Gartenprofil 3000 is available in various materials and profile heights. The standard length of 2.4 m can be shortened with an angle grinder on site if required. The profiles are installed directly into the earth for use as flower bed or lawn edging, a planter, plant edging or as a pond border. Gartenprofil 3000 is put into cement footings during installation, as a path and pavement profile, surface border, pathway demarcation strips or pathway edging.
