Garden profile

Corrugated for high stability

Garden profile is edging for gardens, pavement and paths available in many materials and different profile heights. Garden profile is corrugated all the way through, giving the profiles very high stability. In addition, the transverse grooves ensure that the profiles sit in the ground firmly and solidly. The corrugated shape helps anchor the metal edges in the soil. We have straight profiles, pre-shaped profiles for round, circular borders in various diameters (50 to 225 cm), 90-degree angle profiles for inner and outer corners as well as end profiles. The straight profile, which has a standard length of 240 cm, is pliable. The profiles, available in heights of 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm and 30 cm, can be combined with each other. All profiles feature a rounded upper edge 10 mm wide in order to avoid injuries. Thanks to the rounded top, garden profile is an ideal solution for gardens where children play.

Garden profile shape is completely corrugated, which makes it very stable. The profile heights of 10, 15 and 20 cm have a rounded top edge with a width of 10 mm. The profile, with a height of 30 cm, has rounded top and bottom edges, each with a width of 10 mm. Thanks to the rounded top and bottom, the 30 cm variant has extremely high torsional strength.

Uses

Garden profile is ideal edging if you are looking for high-quality appearance. The profiles are suitable for use as edging for lawns, paths and gardens. Also, when used for the pavement, terrace or drip edging around the house, Garden profile is always a good choice. Thanks to the large range of heights, from 10 cm to 30 cm, they can be used for any application. If required, the metal edges can also be stabilised with ground anchors or individual or strip footings, e.g. for frequently used paths. When reinforcing slopes, we recommend a profile height of 300 mm with ground fixation. You will find matching ground fixation equipment in the Accessories section.

Pliability

Garden profile is flexible, meaning that you can design your garden the way you want it. Edging products with a length of 180 cm or more can be bent into a curved shape. The longer the profile and the lower its height, the easier it is to bend it into a curved shape. Depending on the material and height, radii of up to 50 cm are possible. For curved shapes, we recommend using 240 cm profiles and connection plates to strengthen the screws. You will find matching connection plates in the Accessories section.
Connect profiles

Connect profiles

Simply overlap individual profiles on top of each other and screw them together seamlessly. The required quantity of screws and nuts is included with every profile. An overlap of 2 cm is required. As a result, a straight profile 240 cm long has an actual length of 238 cm once you connect it with another profile.

Gartenprofil is available in various materials and profile heights. The standard length of 2.4 m can be shortened with an angle grinder on site if required. The profiles are installed directly into the earth for use as flower bed or lawn edging, a planter, plant edging or as a pond border. Gartenprofil is put into cement footings during installation, as a path and pavement profile, surface border, pathway demarcation strips or pathway edging.
